It's a good paying job with lots of opportunities for over time. Usually 2 operators during the day and 1 on nights. Some people have problems working 12hrs by themselves. Be prepared to be asked to go to other sites to help out. Even during off days, you will get call outs for other sites.

Viel Sicherheitsgedöns ( Helm, Warnweste, Schuhe mit Mittelfußschutz, permanent Schutzbrille und immer Langarm und lange Hosen (Hautkrebs)Im Sommer kaum zu ertragen!

Worked for AP for a long time. They lack in manager consistency but change is part of the job. Splitting into 3 separate regions was a mistake. They will never admit that but it was a great place to work if they didn’t severance you off. Roughly about every 3 years everything changes.

Great pay and benefits for the lehigh valley. It was a great experience and challenging at times. Very difficult to move up the ladder. At times I felt the management wanted to hold your hand and suffocate you for the easiest and smallest tasks. Jealousy of talent and level of experience was evident. It's a slap in the face when superiors were less qualified by years of experience and education which leads to be believe some promotions and hirings were political based. I was expecting to retire from air products. Unfortunately, greener pasteurs are around.

Great pay but your always under a microscope and being monitored for your speed a hard brake or following to close take ramps too fast or any thing else they can come up with. Your always being monitored with a forward facing camera and one in your face watching to see if you take your eyes off the road for anything will get you an email for the offence. Coworkers are good but their under stress also knowing management dos not have their back. Plan on not having a life at air products because they believe job first family second and your only as good as your last run.The hardest part of the job is coming in and the best part going home.Final thoughts I would not recommend this job to any one.
