Poor management

I was transitioned from Air Liquide to Airgas when airliquide acquired Airgas. The benefits reduction was bad. Health coverage, 401 contributions cut to the bone.

First 2 years I gained good experience then corporate management destroyed a good Job.

What is the best part of working at the company?Best part of working for airgas was quitting time at the end of the day.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Drivecams recording you all day and managers using the data only for their benefit. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Long hours of work, uncertain schedules micromanagement and coworkers trying to survive new air Liquide company changes such as progressive pay.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Even with 3 years experience it felt like a typical was made harder by the companies rules.

Poor choice for a job.

Management are complete idiots. Don't work here, anything is better than these nutters. Seriously....look elsewhere. You have been warned. Good luck and God speed.

not enough people

the company pays well and the benefits are decent but the place never has enough people to keep up with the work and it burns out everyone, thats why turn over is so high.

Non Caring

I worked here for 17 years and was recently laid off. I understand finance part of a business but I received not appreciation or remorse of having to let me go. They just let me go one day and that was it. They say everyone is like a family but that is so the opposite of this company. Pay is average but appreciation of their employees is very low. They rather purchase a Mom and Pops store than give back to the employees.

What is the best part of working at the company?Monday-Friday schedule 5am start time for driversWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?They have a forward and driver facing camera that supervisors and corporate watch like hawks waiting for the most subtle mistake for them to call you out on it What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Supposedly “Safety Driven” but they just use it as an intimidation tactic for the drivers What is a typical day like for you at the company?5am start time everyday morning safety meeting check your cylinder count or load your truck if the loaders didn’t feel like loading your truck the evening before they head out on your route typically 6-12 stops

Unorganized and management lacks responsability

Working for the company started out terrific great work hours Monday through Friday 8 to 5. Plenty to do when I first started the store was un organized and lacked cleanliness. So for six months I re-organized put everything in order and clean the entire store top to bottom then once I got settled in, I started to realize that there was not much management involvement when it came to routine daily activities! The other employees refused to answer phones or help out on the counter unless they wanted to do so. The manager was always gone with the district manager never addressed delivery needs of the customers never answered emails and very seldom called anyone back. The district manager showed extreme favoritism toward the store manager, and very little regard for the assistant manager or counter staff. I ended up resigning because the stress from day-to-day and the lack of leader ship was just too much after about a year and a half I had had enough.

Stressful

What is the best part of working at the company?Working the will call area where the customers came to pick up their orders. Some were picked up by the customer and some were loaded on customer truck. I received many call and letters from my customers concerning the excellent job and service that they received. I can say the logo Am I Really Giving Amazing Service, Airgas, I did and it was a joy. IWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?Team mates that would go stay long periods of time in the restrooms and the supervisors knew it and didn’t correct the problemWhat is the work environment and culture like at the company?The work load is a lot. The company has lost a lot of good workers. They push and drive the workers to much. They bring food in which is good but the work and pay is not so the workers are unhappyWhat is a typical day like for you at the company?I retired after 13 years but it is a very stressful work environment. You never get a chance to leave on time no matter how much work you put out. Employees are always quitting it is a very stressful job. The problems could have been fixed but wasn’t

Consistent hours

Good coworkers. Horrible management that will lie in order to get you do more work. They give everyone the same grade on yearly reviews that way they can avoid giving pay raises.

Fun place to work

Job was good but had its pros and cons like every job. Pay was not the greatest but you make up for the lower pay with the overtime. They pay for travel and food when you do travel

Buen trabajo con buen sueldo y compañerismo.Solo que no cuesta con ruta de transporte.es de lunes a sábado y descanso el domingo.solo hay turno de día.

No lunch breaks one person working in a store.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Most stressful part about the job is them winning you to increase sales and you not being able to leave the store because you were the only person thereWhat is the work environment and culture like at the company?The work environment is bad they expect you do the work of five people by yourself and control the store while outside in the lot loading peoples vehicles.What is a typical day like for you at the company?You open the store at 7:30 you work all day with no lunch break no help no support and then you close at 4:30 to go home and to get phone calls while at home by the answering service

Hard work but great benefits

Good company but management doesn't care about the employees. You can give your time, life,and body to the company, just to be let go when you reach a certain age.

Lousy management

Expectations are set way too high. You're expected to learn things without managerial support. If you're unfamiliar with the welding industry your experience will be rough

Company never chits with your hours worked. The manager is too strict with security driving since the trucks has cameras in the cab.

At Santa Fe facility the truck is already loaded, mostly. Management is very picky with the driving security policy, so all the time is not in your side when needed.

Stressful and camera trying tell you how to drive

To many snitches not enough pay but wanna cry and complain about everything and the cameras so sensitive anything it comes on sorry excuses for everything customer complaints about gas them not on the truck

Good place to work and good pay as well as work life balance. Management is good and friendly and everyone is nice to work with. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a job

Grat company to work for.

I loved working there, great leadership team and associates nothing negative to say at all about this company. I had to leave the company due to some health issues I was going through was just bad timing for me.

Pros

Great office, no micro managing, great employees, great managers.

None that I experienced.

After interview told them I wasn't interested....

Interview had 5 people. All of which were younger guys with a "know it all" attitude. Asked very amature questions and void of any humor or personability. Basically imagine if a bunch of high school jocks ran a company. Not a culture I'd want to be apart of. A shame, seems like a good company and opportunity otherwise. I just can't joint a toxic environment like that. You'd think at least one of the 5 guys would have been older and experienced, but nope. Just 5 guys with maybe 2 years of logistics experience tops.

Only higher "bros" w/ certs. 10+yrs professional experience at larger companies is useless.
