Bridgestone has the worst management in the world. They promote a hostile work environment. The work conditions are horrible. Some areas are over 100 degrees for months.

Good money but you will work for it. Managers pretty cool but some are snakes though. The breaks suck but the time of its good. It take alot to get fired.

Management and job environment is the killer to this cool job. You get to work hard due to severe understaffed and create a shallow bond with coworkers and customers. There is no incentive to work harder than bare minimum. Bridgestone is an old job to make a lifetime career as a company man.

The place has really gone down hill. They hired a lot criminals over the last few years and it really drove that place into the ground. All the old timers have retired and now it’s a bad place to work.

I started not knowing the basic and got trained fairly quickly. I learned how to do oil changes, tires, and other light maintenance.

Dirty. Beyond dirty. Carbon black is among the foulest substances known to man. It is an unholy combination of carbon dust and grease with every single bad trait that goes with it. As far the work? No climate control. Hot. Dusty. Overworked. Unappreciated. Accept you are nothing but a disposable pawn to them. They go through temps like sprinters go through shoes. About as beat up as well.

Trash employer. Constant OT. Everything is workers fault and not the fact that their equipment is aged and failing due to the fact that maintenance doesn't have the time to properly care for it.

Upper management changes frequently. Culture get torn once you bring outside influencers to key management roles instead of promotion from within. The hardest part of the job is working with individuals who are not team oriented or know how to follow directions. The discounts are decent.
