Poor practice of ethics, and shady work ethics.

Overall a very toxic work environment. Big issue on bullying and covers ups. Management has a poor view on mental health and refuse to give bigger issues more time/investigation.

Coworkers were a group of closet cases.

This place is by far the worst work environment I have ever seen or been in. Coworkers don't take responsibility for anything and undertraining is an understatement. The balcones heights plant is falling apart. They constantly lie to their customers about delays when in reality they can't maintain decent cement production.

Absolutely the worst work experience I’ve ever had.

What is the best part of working at the company?Co workers are awesome, great people to work with for the most part. Working outdoors is always a plus, challenging work environment.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Most unsafe work place in entire area. Equipment at point of catastrophic failure. Poor management from corporate level on down. Foreign owned company with no idea how to operate in American safety culture. Environmentally irresponsible.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Very poor, not sensitive to the need of the community. No concern for the environment.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Most time is spent trying to control the confusion caused by mismanagement.

It’s a terrible place to work and very little support from the management and plant managers

Easy but stressful and pushed

Other drivers friendly and help you out as much as they can, always pushed for you to work more and more. no overtime pay although they push it on you.management cant handle their workload, get stressed managing 20 drivers, expect to get a nickname if you work for this company

Horrible place to work

Dangerous unsafe work with outdated equipment. They hire registered pet offenders and felons. Horrible management and production management.. I absolutely do not recommend cemex lyons unless you enjoy torturing yourself and slowly killing yourself with all the breathing hazards your exposed to

Great job

Good hours, easy work, decent hourly rate. Only tough part is different times every day but other then that very good job. Excellent 401k match and insurance

If you care about work, don't work here,cause they don't care about you!!!

Went through 19 managers in 6 years, some good some don't care about you and make you feel less about your self and they never and I mean never give a hoot about your long hours, no lunch, and 10 hrs a day so they can drive fancy cars and you get nothing in return!!

Bad environment

Bad work environment. People are truly mean to each other. Decent pay and benefits, but people are overworked. Always on call and working a large number of hours worked in a week.

Great place to work besides hours

Union is awesome. Hours are crazy. Don't know your schedule till 5 pm the day before your shift . Lots of 10 hours off then back to work. You will clear 100k easily with the amount of hours you work 40-80 a week.

Good hours, fast paced and productive

Good place to work. Dispatch keeps you busy all day long. Not a set schedule, work hours vary from day to day. Different shift times every day at any time of the day.

This company sucks!! I mean literally

I didn't enjoy my experience there. When I went to training the hotel they sent me to was horrible. The equipment or the truck they use is always in the shop

Great place to work safely great

If you like driving good money , treat you like family helpful and good equipment. Up to date Take the time to show driver the in and outs to job sites gps in your truck. Little to no paper work all tablets in all trucks.

Productive but had work involved

It's is a good company gives you time with family and you could volunteer to work weekends. Most of the work start very early in the morning and as long there is work you can not knock off work

La carga de trabajo es excesiva; la empresa busca hacer mas con menos, pero realmente abusan de ello. Hay muy poco personal en las plantas y la carga de trabajo es demasiada. Tienes que trabajar 12 horas al dia y tambien fines de semana. El pago es "bueno" pero no lo vale en lo absoluto.
