If you like to be in a constant state of chaos

Not enough hours and busy with short staff but managers were nice and supportive through it all. They also work around your availability if your in school etc.

Organized and committed to building a great team

Morton’s is the most organized restaurant I’ve ever worked for. The management is extremely considerate, and for the most part does anything in their power to support you. With that being said, Morton’s is a corporate restaurant and the pressure from upper management to maximize profit can leave the staff overextended at times. It has been a great experience overall, and I would recommend it to anyone who is considering working there.

Great learning

The training the learning experience was fantastic I enjoyed the staff and the way food and beverage were handled the company and its upper management were very supportive to all employees and to guest- priority HOT FOOD!

Productive and fun place to work

The cooks, management, host, dishwashers, busters , co workers were fun to work with and fun to be around . Had it ups and downs . That’s normal . But more good than bad .

Playing favorites

Morton's has their "top tier " servers who get the best tables and leave with 700$ sometimes a night. Others scrap to get tables and have mainly two tops.

Have thick skin

If you're a man wanting to work here, you'll fair much better with management and existing staff. Intense micromanagement with no real or positive leadership.

Would not Recommend

It felt like I was working in some weird place where there was almost no management and the kitchen just yelled at the servers. Skip it-- there are way better places to work.

Productive and fun place to work you have family meals with at times included steak and fish and would be concern for those who are vegetarians good music good team good management

It's all about marketing and nothing about food.

If they actually cared about the employees and the quality of the food they were putting on the table it would be much better place to work. However the main focus is marketing the Landry's name not the food on the table. But the money is great if you're thick skinned.

Horrible people to work for!

Horrible people to work for. Staff is bad and management is worse. Favoritism at its best. They didn’t like change. If you didn’t work at their pace they picked on you until you left and management did nothing about it.

Slow, going down and bad energy

25 years ago, this place was on top. Now it is on the decline. Customers bringing in coupons, subpar food, cheap tippers, feels very discounted. No windows - very gloomy and dark inside. Staff was not fun to be around - no support, just a job. Scheduled for 5 days - ended up working 3 days since they were slow. Did not make any money. Spent 8 hours working Xmas and walked with $70. - no. They charge you $9 a paycheck for a discount you will never use.

Productive work environment

People here respect each other. It’s the best management I’ve ever been under considering it’s also a restaurant. Getting awful customers is just par for the course but the great customers outweigh the negative ones. Plus the tips are sooo great. Overall it’s a great place to work.

It's Ok

Always adding more to workload. It's an ok place to work. Lot of hard work and very corporate. Always labor controlling and sales driven. Open every day all holidays. They need to do more to retain employees, especially Managers. Take care of your employees and they will stay. Duh..

Front and back of house managers are supportive. It can be a tough room to work as the clientele can fluctuate depending on what is going on in town...

Horrible management! Rude and disrespectful. Pay isn’t worth the time spent working. The GM has no no idea how to run a restaurant effectively. All common sense is out the window.

I deserved way better

Training was next to nothing, but I figured it would be because of the pandemic. Hours were so long. Stress level was always high. Managers run around the same if not more than the servers. Certain staff were bossy and unfriendly. The GM was short fused and could get aggressive from time to time. I saw too many good employees come and go. The only good thing was that the corporate seemed warm and welcoming and the standards of the company seemed sound.

Staff is Great

Fine dining and fun group to work with . Managers are kind and flexible with schedule . High rollers come in , so if u make a mistake it’s a big no no . Typical restaurant atmosphere with good co workers .

Fun people, made decent money and had fun doing it.

They are a good company, always treated me fair. And the crew they picked were great people, no complaints about Morton’s. Sure do miss the taste of those prime steaks, top notch.

Fast Work place and Amazing Place to grow in

Staff is very welcoming and friendly. If you don't get along with someone you're definitely the problem. Not an easy place to get hired as they prioritize who works there as the best and most experienced folk. customers who come in are like family.
