If you’re new or come in as a temp they rather watch you struggle than offer sound advice or tell you what you’re doing even when you ask. You’re treated differently than those who’ve been there longer than you.

Terrible Management

The management is always micromanaging your work' even if you are doing a great job it is never enough" Safety is thrown out at this location" Just get the job done and don"t worry about broken equipment.

Workers were friendly & helpful. Management is the reason the job sucks. A Lott of favoritism there.

It's a wine distribution company. The job is unloading & taking the items to vendors. There is a lot of lifting & they load too many cases on the truck. The trucks are rarely ready to go when you get there at 4 am. No OT, they pay a daily rate, per mile, & a percentage of the cases on your truck. 44k-52 a year is an estimate.

Can make good money but they never let you keep it

You can be the best sales person there but they don't let you keep what you kill for very long they cut you hard. So much so it hurts but they throw you a bone when they think they might lose ya to keep you around. Then do it, to you all.over again. Sad but truth Management is solely decided by nepotism , forced and if someone complains enough to get role. They will tell you over and over your next in line for.managment your next cause your a rock star but if your not in the click or on upper Managements LIKE LIST you don't gotta a shot in heck of getting promoted. When they lose brands they temporarily subsidie but never get u back to whole. But will tell that the brand leaving, has nothing to do with what you, the sales force do because you rock you are the heart of rndc. When this are managment never gets cut like the sales forces, eventhough sales peeps are whom get it done day in and day out. My opinion take it or leave it.

Alot of overtime also you control your route.

Management needs an upgrad. The pay should be higher as well due to the work load wine dilevery. Sometimes routes were not ready due to low numbers of warehouse employees. The time windows we're not updated like they should be.

Great company to work in the liquor industry

Great culture. Plenty of rewarding opportunities in the liquor distribution industry. Sales positions pay well if you're self-motivated. Solid leadership.

Not good for growth

From day one the company talks about career growth and development. But doesn't follow through. They promote based more on convenience and favoritism, rather than merit. Unless you live Indianapolis and make friends with the right people. You will get nowhere with this company.

Great positive environment

The environment and people are pleasant and professional. They hold fun events monthly with all to participate. They are paperless program with updated technologies. The I.T. Department is very knowledgeable and helpful. They do not skimp on equipment and supplies.

Management is a joke there, they just sit in their office all day watching YouTube and their way of getting you to do anything is harass you until you do it. I am truly happy to not be with that company anymore.

RNDC isn't for everybody - but if you work hard, it's a great place to be

RNDC has almost unlimited career potential in their logistics side. Turn-over is high for new employees, many of whom seemed genuinely shocked when they were expected to stay on task throughout a shift. I'll never understand that. Working in a warehouse is a fast-paced job that requires paying attention to details and a willingness to do what it takes to hold down your spot. If you can't do that, you shouldn't be in a warehouse.If you're made of the right stuff to survive the first month, your odds of being successful are 100% dictated by your ability to keep pace and be professional. I've seen managers bend over backwards to accommodate the needs of their teams. On particularly hard nights, corporate often shows up to help finish the shift. When the regional manager gets out of his Mercedes, walks up to your station, and starts helping you move boxes at the end of a grueling shift - that's a company you want to work for.Night shift is brutal sometimes - but rewarding. The night managers and supervisors are good people, who aren't afraid to get dirty. If a particular line is struggling, it's completely normal to see one or more of the night shift management go run that line during breaktime to get them caught up.If you can reliably read labels, count boxes, and aren't afraid of a hard night's work - RNDC is an excellent place to work.

Toxic environment

Upper management takes no responsibility and all the work load falls onto entry level managers and sales reps. Often humiliated by managers. Sales goals change constantly.

Good and legit company to work for

Good company . Takes care of the employees and offer growth. A real career and company that understand real life. They are a set company that has a great history and real opportunity. Not just a fly by the way job. They will set you up for a career and years if you choose to stay that long . A real opportunity

It’s a hard and challenging job and potential for growth if you work hard and learn as many jobs as possible the employee are great to work with long days sometimes but good pay and overtime pay as well

Worst work environment

Management only caters to sales reps. Drivers mind you are the ones doing the actual work get treated badly So if you don't mind that It's the right place for you.

I loved working at RNDC. Everyone in my market was super helpful! HR could use a little work. I think that a lot of the policies were not aligned with today’s workforce.

Co workers are ok, management is horrible.

Would not recommend!! If you're willing to put work above family, health, and everything else then you'll do great, but if you want any kind of balance management will treat you very poorly

A good place to start in the beverage industry

A great opportunity to learn and grow your knowledge in the beverage industry. Working freight and learning about wine are the basics. Mostly will work alone keeping and maintaining your accounts

Learn as you go and fast paced

The analysis work you do can be very challenging but creative. They are very open to trying new things there. Great place to learn but sometimes projects and reports are very tight on deadlines due to sale cycles.
