Terrible place to work

Terrible place to work, will be told how and when to drive your truck by people in offices with no experience, and your pay will be negative for months no matter how much you run, if you get close to the end of your lease they will make something up to fire you and not pay you your last check

Productive

Work is steady, and easy to do. No touch freight, good miles, stop pay, and only delivery to Walmarts in the region. Reasonable management to get along with.

Really nice people in management.

Good equipment, good place to work. Pay is average, but the bonuses were nice. I worked the Family Dollar account and was home every week. Very predictable schedule after being there a short time.

Unorganized

Good pay for the first three months.. good bonuses. After that, low rates and they don’t care about you not having enough time. They’ll try to force you to keep driving.

Two years no major issues

I have been here for 2 years now with no real issues. Typical trucking job. Might have to buy them about getting miles from time to time but over all a good account to run.

Low mileage/pay. Did not receive all bonuses reimbursements promised

It's a love/hate RELATIONSHIP. Most of the time you can just do your job, be on time and USX will leave you alone. But the downfall is its follow through with money promised to you. Reimbursements get trickled in. If you pay out in full, reimbursement s/b refunded in full.

Hard word , pay ok but you just a number they don’t care about drivers, they are losing the contract for dollar tree in January I am glad maybe someone else will do better

Six loads is too many loads for one driver in a day to per

A typical workday there you might have to perform up to six deliveries to various dollar trees, and to keep rolling. You need to depend on Dollar tree employees helping you this presents, a dilemma, because they are so shortstaffed and unorganized.

Great Dispatcthers that keep you rolling

You'll never have to worry about sitting for too long. They keep you rolling. The pay is pretty weak compared to what i was told i would be getting. Great company for new CDL holders fresh out of trucking school.

Great place to work pay is a little sketchy and the hours is long 12 hours plus but co workers are nice and the work environment is nice great place to work it

Expectations

Was expecting 2500+ miles as recruiter guaranteed. I’m lucky to see 1200-1800 miles a week. Sometimes a 900 mile week. Feels like I’d spend most of the time waiting.Overall a great company though. Everyone is nice and helpful. Easy to get hometime.

Driving

Some weeks you’ll have days you’ll sit waiting for a load and some weeks you’ll have good miles. Fm is awesome and not a lot of communication. I’m not bothered and the experience is not all bad. Average check is roughly 900-1200. Out 3.5 weeks and home for 2-4 days

I just started working here and…

My trainer called out of work almost every single day when she was suppose to be training me. Out of the three WEEKS I was assigned to her, she only trained me three days. I would’ve been done by now. I asked for a new trainer and they would tell me there were no trainers and to deal with her. My trainer has now decided to not train me anymore. She never let me drive the truck once because she didn’t think I was ready. There wasn’t a set time for work. She would call me randomly in the middle of the night out of my sleep or early mornings to work and I live an hour away. The office has no structure, it’s small, can get crowded and the managers purposely move extremely slow when you’re trying to get your paperwork and can also be rude. The most enjoyable part of this job was driving home.

It is like any other job you get in what you get out!! Can make good money. Nice equipment. Nice an friendly dispatch. Walmart employees you work around cool.

Low miles

I went from driving almost 3000 miles a week at my previous company to 1000-1700 with usx. My truck I was given was covered in dog hair from the previous driver and they really did nothing about it

High call volume all day

Go to work do your job and go home! High call volume all day long except for 3rd shift. Some managers are cool some are not. Cut back on overtime but pays fair.

What is the best part of working at the company?1 because I can't give 0. Winter is coming soon which means you'll freeze to death on the trucks since you can't idle them they even shutoff during Regen. They tell you the trucks idle at 32 degrees but even at 19 my truck shut off. The bunk heater starts blowing cold air after 4 hours so you have to keep getting up through the night not getting a full night's sleep to charge the engine and if you run it for at least an hour it'll be blowing cold air in 20 minutes then you have to get up and drive and unload the truck IN THE COLD.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Already stated ... could add more but you should have gotten the point already What is a typical day like for you at the company?Already stated in previous comments. I won't leave any more comments if I have to keep answering the same questions over and over
