Cigo is a growing technology company specializing in last-mile delivery management and logistics optimization. Our platform helps businesses streamline their delivery operations, improve efficiency, and deliver a better customer experience.

We are undertaking a complete rewrite of our mobile application using React Native and are looking for an experienced developer to help us build a modern, reliable, and scalable application.

The Role

As a React Native Developer, you will play a key role in developing our next-generation mobile application for iOS and Android. You will work remotely and collaborate closely with our product, design, backend, and quality assurance teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high-quality mobile application using React Native.
• Help define the architecture for the complete rewrite of our existing mobile app.
• Build reliable, reusable, and scalable components.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Implement features involving GPS, maps, camera access, file uploads, push notifications, and real-time data.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across iOS and Android.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release processes.
• Collaborate effectively with a fully remote development team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional React Native development experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience developing and releasing production applications for both iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of React, mobile application architecture, and state management.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with asynchronous data.
• Familiarity with Xcode and Android Studio.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance-optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with mapping, GPS tracking, background location services, or route optimization.
• Experience with push notifications, offline functionality, and real-time communication.
• Knowledge of native iOS development with Swift or native Android development with Kotlin.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing applications for logistics, transportation, delivery, or field-service operations.
• Applications published on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
