Sharp Brains Limited is a global IT services and technical staffing company providing desktop support, network infrastructure, data center services, and onsite technical support across multiple countries.

We are seeking experienced Desktop Support Engineers in Tababela, Ecuador, to provide on-site technical support for client projects on an on-demand, ticket-based basis.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, hardware, software, and operating system issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace computers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, printers, monitors, and end-user devices.
• Identify and resolve basic LAN, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity issues.
• Perform hardware replacements, equipment installations, and other onsite IT support tasks as assigned.
• Follow client procedures, technical instructions, and site access requirements.
• Document completed work and submit service reports, photographs, or other required evidence.
• Communicate professionally with clients and the service delivery team regarding task progress and technical issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in desktop support, IT field services, or a similar technical support role.
• Practical knowledge of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and Windows operating systems.
• Experience supporting printers, monitors, and other IT peripherals.
• Basic understanding of networking and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions at client locations.
• Spanish proficiency is preferred.

Contract Details

This is a freelance, on-demand opportunity rather than a full-time position. Work is assigned based on client requirements and project availability.

Before each assignment, the team will confirm your availability and provide the relevant details, including the site location, scheduled date, reporting time, and scope of work.

Candidates should be comfortable accepting assignments on a project-by-project basis.
